RIP Snowball... :(

I was walking up to the fish pond and found her laying there. We suspect that a raccoon killed her last night and drug her up to the pond.

It seems like my silkies that have won ribbons ALWAYS get killed. First, my silkie rooster, Feathers, and now Snowball.

May she rest peacefully in chicken heaven.

Last night we locked up the chickens early. I think I may have missed her when we locked them up.

I feel like it is my fault...

It is so hard. Some of Snowball's last offspring are in the incubator now, but they are being hatched for someone. I miss her so much.
