No, we don't treat our grass with anything. We have apple trees that we spray every spring/summer...but never let the chickens out during that time, plus the trees are really far a way from where the coop is... we never had an issue with any of that all these years. Plus there still is a lot of snow on the ground, so I can't imagine him getting into much....
