Died from: Have no clue... came home from thanksgiving dinner at my mother in laws house and went to check on them and they were all huddled together on top of her. She was fine this morning...
Obit: She was the runt, very super sweet and loved sitting in my lap when i got on BYC. When she would peep at me i would pick her up and kiss her and put her on my shoulder and she would snuggle up to my hair and rest. I loved her

I'm so sad. She should be sitting in my lap right now peeping at me to kiss her...

Age: Around eight months or so.
Laying: Nope.
Died from: A number of things. It was really cold, mites gathered on her when we found her on the ground, she had some problems before (cross beak, she was runt-ish, weak, 'special', etc.), and so on.
Obit: Gouda was the sweetest chickie I had, and I will always love her. She has a special place in my heart.

This is Mary Belle, she was blind in one eye. She probably should have died as a chick, but she lived in my pocket and I fed her with a medicine dropper until she was strong enough to get around. Then I had to nurse her again when she and the other chicks made the big move from the brooder to the coop. I finally ended up loosing her a couple of weeks ago when a weasel got into their house. I miss her everyday

she would wait at the door for me every night so I could put her on the roost, and she would always come running to me when I called her name. Thanks for this thread

Died from: HAVE NO CLUE, MAYBE GOT TOO COLD??
Obit: SHE WAS SO PRETTY, BEGINNING TO GROW BROWN AND BLACK FEATHERS, LOVED TO BE CUDDLED, WAS THE KIDS' FAVORITE!

Died from: **** hawk
Obit: She was so sweet! Always came running for treats. I was devastated when she was killed. Her three sisters seemed to miss her. I came outside and the hawk was standing over her. She only had a tiny bite out of her neck. I picked her up and she was all warm and she peeped and then passed. RIP, Onyx.
