I isolated a hen last week due to broodiness, keeping her elevated in a cage separate from the others. She has somehow torn her comb, appears to be from back to front, slightly detached from her head. Can't really tell for sure since she freaks out when I try to hold her (she has always been that way). The blood is dry but should I be doing something else for her, worried about infection/flys, etc.
