I noticed on of my pigeons was limping and holding its foot up a lot yesterday.

I caught her up and saw she had somehow managed to rip on one of her claws out. It was bleeding very slightly and seemed very painful for her.

Will the claw grow back? Do I need to bandage it up... will it get infected from walking about in the yard and in the coop?

A few months ago one of my pigeons ripped her claw out, she doesn't like me messing with her feet so I didn't do anything and it healed/grew back fine. Seems like bandaging a pigeon foot would be a waste of time cause they (at least mine) can't stand things stuck to their feet and manage to remove them pretty quick.

We've had claws ripped out and they have always grown back slowly. They have never gotten infections from that.

Thank you everyone for your comments. .

She is walking better already today!
