RIR/Aseel Cross

Hi friend's,
I am having one RIR Cockerel & Aseel pullet, would like to know is there any possibility to get pure RIR if I crossbreed both.

Hi, Elvis!

You may have the answer by now. But if you still don't, I have an answer for you. As I have done what you asked, I know the answer.

Answer: You won't EVER get a pure RIR chick from doing that as the Asil/Aseel genes are much more dominant. What you will get by almost 100% is a chick that looks like an Asil/Aseel, regardless of gender.

Unfortunately, both the male and female chicks will have the figure of the mother Asil/Aseel, but the plumage color will resemble that of the father RIR. The female chick will inherit the plumage characteristics from the father alone, while the male chick will get the plumage characteristics from both the father and the mother. But, the figure will always be that of an Asil/Aseel.
