rir being picked on

i just started with 8 new ladies 7 orps and 1 rir all from the same supplier. its only been 4 days togther.the rir seems to being picked on all the time is this normal? also getting ready to add 4 arracan from the same supplier. will this make a bigger problem?

How old are they? Is the RIR younger by any chance? If so she may is at the bottom of the pecking order. If they are all about the same size, they should be fine once everything gets established. In addition, being the only RIR, if she was not raised with the BO's... she may have no friends yet and thus am being picked on. When ever you add birds, they will all fight out who is top and who is not.

I have my babies and they are now 3 days old... I can already see a pecking order starting to happen. But one of them started getting picked on and had a bloodied her wing.... they wouldn't stop, have had to isolate her until she's better... I feel so bad she looks so lonely~
