Yesterday I noticed my RIR not quite herself so I watched her closely.
This morning she laid an egg that had a clear mucus on it and alot of it was covered with a white film. She still seems a little under the weather. I checked her vent and it seemed to look good. I felt gently and did not feel another egg. She had a little white on her feathers near her vent.
She is about 8 months old and has laid pretty consitantly since she started. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
