I see all roosters. in the first 2 pics of the RIR, you can see the saddle feathers. The Sussex you can see the saddle feathers drooping. The Ancona's comb is too red at this age to be a hen, and also has the saddle feathers. I'm sorry you already had to get rid of one already. That's really disappointing.

I hope things go well for you, in the future.

If the two oldest are 21 weeks old, I'd say they're girls and the LS will be laying soon.

The ancona looks like a male. That is a very large comb for that age, but I don't know much about that breed. If you look at its lower back, underneath the feathers, can you see some new, thin, pointy feathers coming in?

Feathers around the saddle area can be droopy on hens, but it's the shape that defines whether they are male saddle feathers or regular hen feathers. Male saddle feathers are much finer, like comparing a chopstick to a spoon.

Thanks for all your replies! Ancona has got new feathers coming in. They do look pointy at this stage but I am no expert! All of the feathers on the rir look rounded so I'm still thinking pullet for her. I have been pretty certain that the LS is a cockerel for about 10 weeks, taking him back tomorrow and getting a 3/4 leghorn guaranteed to be a hen! Will wait a bit longer on the Ancona
