Glad you could join the flock! Lovely chick you have there. At 4 weeks I feel it's a little too early to determine gender. You can post some pics in the what breed gender section of the forum, here is the link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this
You may have to post some more pics in a few more weeks when your chick is older. I hope your chick turns out to be a pullet for you.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I don't see anything indicating cockerel at this point, but your chick is too young to sex with any real accuracy. I would suggest posting its pic in about a month. By then its gender should be pretty obvious. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting a pullet.

when your chick is older please do post clear, closeups showing front of head (to check the comb) and side view standing, so other gender clues could be evident.
