So around this time last year (februrary 28th 2025) we bought a couple chickens from someone selling them on craigslist and he had a variety. We got a few different breeds including 1 RIR chick.
After about a year she doesnt resemble a rir to me much aside from her color. The combs not right, and she doesnt lay as often as most do. As well as the egg isnt a darker brown color. She from what i can tell resembles a Buckeye more than a rir but i could be wrong and need input on it.
