This should be an easy one, I hope. I got this 2-3 year old hen and was told she might be a Rhode Island Red. However, she seems kind of light in color. Is she maybe a Red Sex link? Her tail feathers underneath are very light in color. She lays huge medium brown eggs that weight between 70 - 80 grams. The size of her eggs is impressive.

Thanks for the reply! I didn't think she was dark enough to be a RIR. Super nice hen though and she follows us all over the farm (looking for treats of course).

Red Sex-Link. Rhode Island Reds, even hatchery-quality ones (which are usually light in color) don't have white tail feathers.
