RIR Roo Green Feather question

I have a 6 week old RIR that I am pretty sure is a roo. But I was wondering when his saddle feathers will start coming in. I guess a part of me has become attached and hope that he might be a she who just over developed her wattles and comb early.

Pink/red comb and wattles at 6 weeks screams roo. Both boys and girls can have black/green feathers. Show quality RIR's are very deep red and have consistant black in their tails. Saddle feathers should start to show at about 2-3 months old.
