RIR Roo has Dark Growths on Comb

My RIR has developed what looks like moles on his comb. Here is a pic. Does anyone know what it might be and how I can treat him? Thank you

Sounds like Avian Pox. There is no treatment for it you just have to let it run its course.

They could also be scabs. I can't really tell in the picture, but roosters tend to get scraped on their comb from daily rooster business.

Mites, mosquitoes and wild birds spread it. If he does have pox you should separate him from the flock. First of all, are the growths getting larger?

I do think they are getting larger.

They are doing much better and not growing.
