RIR ROO mounting a duck and doind the deed !!!!

I had a bourban red turkey that used to mount ducks, guineas, chickens and my turkey hen. Just whichever one he could corner. He wound up killing a guinea and duck, but he stopped the behavior and went straight turkey when I got a couple more turkey hens.

I'm told they won't develop/hatch.

Well I do not want to waste the eggs so I guess that I will not incubate them . I really do not want a cross between a duck and chicken , what if it went to the pond (the duck instint) and could not swim( the chicken instint) and drown? I would feel like a horrible Mom then . So they will be going into Easter baking . Thanks to you all for your input . Have a wonderful day.

Basically harmless behavior in this case. A drake breeding a hen;however, can have far more serious consequences. Ducks actually have a corkscrew shaped penis, and repeated mating with a chicken may cause prolapse. No, the eggs willl not be fertile. The chromosome number is off by too much.
