RIR rooster or hen?

Hello,
She looks like a hen to me, but I have about five minutes of chicken experience!!!

My ten week old RIR's don't have waddles this big yet!
I have six of them.
What are you feeding her?

Take care and good luck

Hello Abecca,
Are they on grower or layer?
As far as scraps go for mine,
They only seem to like lettuce, strawberries and fish, which they freak out over.
When I feed them fish, it's like chicken crack!!!
They like milled oats as well, but they don't freak when I feed them this.
I have tried other treats but they just don't go for anything else.
I have tried yogurt, fresh corn, raisins, cereal, bell peppers. cheese (just to see if they would go for it) and other stuff I can't think of right now, but so far only lettuce, strawberries, and fish stand out as treats.

The first time we gave them strawberries they were little and inside still and we ended up spending all of our time doing poop duty instead of siting with them.

I have heard they really like eggs and chicken but I cannot bring myself to feed them these.

Oh and they really whiskey!!!
Just Kidding.

Looks like a cockerel to me.
I have two 12 week olds and they have very tiny wattles and their comb is not big and red yet like yours. My pullet's tails look much smaller than yours as well. I don't have tons of experience but just comparing your to mine, yours looks like a cockerel.

They are on grower. They like broccoli, asparagus, and graham crackers so far. They hate lettuce. They also go wild over oranges, but I read that you aren't supposed to feed them oranges... They're still young and I eat a lot of oranges, figure a treat wont hurt them.

I'll have to try the whiskey next! lol

I'll try the Graham crackers tonight!

I have tried broccoli but they buried it!!!
I also tried bean sprouts and they ate a few of them but they buried those as well.
I guess poo tastes better then bean sprouts!!!
Chicken taste is in (or on) their feet!!!

Do you cook the broccoli before you give it to them?
