They’re both 24 wks.
Everything I have is 24 wks. None of them have the Silkie feathers in the tail. I’ve got 2-3 that look like each pic. Some lighter, smaller combs and some brighter, bigger combs and wattles.
Those feathers are actually pointy but not silky. They hang loose though.

Sounds like you have all ladies! If you don't have some laying already in hidden nest, you should be getting eggs real soon. Fake eggs in lay boxes helps show new hens that others deem it safe to lay there and encourage them to do so as well. Sometimes I will go into lock down, inside the coop for about 3 days. MAYBE letting them out around 4 or 5 on day 2 and pay attention if they run to a certain location and give away their nest. :wee

Even though they are the same age, it is not uncommon to have different maturity levels. My barred Rocks in the same group started laying at 20, 22, and 24 weeks old. Now, go find your eggs! ;)

ETA: I'd be surprised if none of your ladies was laying by 24 weeks, this time of year and breed. :pop

They aren’t usually let out until 5 or after when we get home. So they shouldn’t have a hidden nest anywhere. I have 7 others laying in the boxes (6 out of 7 leghorns, and 1 out of 6 EE) so they get it. Actually had 1 RIR start laying today.
