RIR versus Production Red.....

I have for what I think are 1 1/2 YO production red hens, that lay huge eggs. I have three beautiful deep red RIR that are laying smaller eggs. My RIR's are about 5 months old. My question, will the eggs from the RIR's get larger in time?

My hybrids start out laying large eggs, and most quickly get to an egg a day.

My RIRs start out laying medium eggs, and then most will gradually have larger eggs over time, some take months to "ramp up." The RIRs also start out at about 3-4 eggs a week and generally increase to 5-6 eggs a week over time as well.

I get somewhat less in the winter, time off for molt, etc. with both.
