RIR x Americauna Cross ???

Have any of you made this cross and if you have what was the crosses eggs per year and color? Was it a very light green?
That will depend largely in the strains of RIR and Ameraucana you are using for breeding. production type RIR are quite prolific egg layers, the Show Quality ones not so much.! Ameraucanas are good layers but not as good as production type RIR! the F1 eggs should be light green

X2...also whether you are using true ameraucana or the "americauna" as you spelled it which would indicate you likely have Easter egger(s)...the latter introduces a bit of a genetic crapshoot.

I hatched a very pretty pullet out of a (hatchery/production) RIR hen and by a Blue Wheaten Ameraucana rooster last summer. I can't find a picture of her anywhere, but she was a lighter red than her mother, with a beard/muffs from her father. Unfortunately, she was killed by a raccoon right before she reached point of lay, so I don't know what her egg production would have been like. :/
