The chicks look similar to their father? So will they look like him?
Or since he's a EE mutt they can be anything?
And also is there a chance they'll lay olive eggs?!

I can add more pictures of babies too, if needed.
 
i want to no the same thing i just hatched out 2 and one looks the same as your the other is cole black with a chocolate head.
 
Small chance they'll lay any color but brown eggs - The EE roo has huge waddles and a very tall comb, so he's likely already got green or olive green genes. The offspring though will look a lot like daddy.
 
If the roo carries a gene for blue eggs [ which can be blue or green , makes no difference ] there's at least a 50% chance the chicks will too . Wattles [ not waddles ] and height of the comb show evidence of a single combed breed in his recent background , but I
" think " its a pea comb . If he hasn't already produced blue/green egg layers , this will be a good test mating . The depth of the green coloring is dependent on the depth of the brown in the breeds you are crossing .
