I bought 10 RIR pullets 5 weeks ago, one of them is different and i think it is going to be a rooster. It has a much bigger comb and a shorter tail that wasnt straight. it is aslo a diffrent color. so will you help me i need to know

Hi jtr, is it possible to put up a photo?
It does sound possibly a boy, but then again it might be a different breed. If it's rir it shouldn't be a markedly different colour to the others.

I read somewhere recently that RIR hens all have a dark stripe in their head.

i cant get a pic but i know that it is the same breed because they all looked exactly the same when they were a week old

i dont know it is to old it has color in the comb and starting to get feathers on head
