RIRs - hens or roosters?

We thought we were getting hens, but we're concerned they may be roosters?! Help? They will be 4 months old next week, or so we were told.

We have 3 RIRs and 3 Plymouth rocks. Wanted 6 hens, but not sure how many we really have.

Welcome to BYC! . Here's my take on the pics. This is just my opinion. I am not a chicken expert by any means.

1. Rooster
2, hen on left, rooster on right.
3. Looks like 3 roosters

I agree with outpost JWB. I had 6 Rhode Island Reds, hoping to be all hens but 2 turned to be a rooster. Roosters tail feathers curl whereas the hen stay up. Hope this helps.

Henry is a "Carolina brown dog", aka a mixed breed from an animal shelter. He's the best dog we've ever had.

I see all roos, except I'm not sure of the one on the left of the 2nd pic. Do you have a better picture of that one?
