Lol, funny this should come up. I just got done cleaning a bobcat skull from a young female we found dead on the road near our house. She was gorgeous!

I am so insanely jealous! I'm cleaning a possum skull right now, big deal right? Lol. Probably would have wrecked the car pulling over for that bobcat!

Unfortunately, I see a lot of road kill, foxes, deer, opossums, raccoons and some things I did not know what they were! We live in the country but our driveway goes out to a road that connects two of our towns, so there is a lot of traffic and way too many dead wildlife.

I love collecting skulls! It’s such a sense of accomplishment cleaning them yourself. I had a beautiful raccoon skull that my dog got ahold of.. sigh. About to start painting a cow skull from my in-laws ranch. Unfortunately the bobcat had a fractured orbital bone and lower canine so it’s not the best skull but it’s still really cool.
