Roam Free Roleplay

Rue rolled around in the flowers as the sun hit her side, leaving an obvious indent into the soil where her body was. Suddenly, the perfect sky began to mix with a foggy grey, shortly after she heard the loud rumbling sound that wasn’t her stomach. The lava poured out of the top, every splatter burning any trace of flowers, or life in an instant. The hot, molten lava came at her quick, she had no time to react, her feet froze in place and “BAM !” Her eyes opened and she jolted upright. “It was just a dream.” She thought, putting her head back down with a thud

Arran nodded as he listened.
“You wanna find a young hadrosaur or something?” He asked, tilting his head towards Cragan as they walked.
“I think they’re hanging around the swamps this season.” He nodded east. “Hopefully they’re not all fully on the Wetlander’s territory..” the orange-brown tyrant perked up as if he’d had an idea, gaze locked towards the direction he’d mentioned.

"That sounds like a plan. The Wetlanders are all lax anyway. You think they'd go all the way to the border? Well, let's go then!" Cragan ambled in the direction of the swampier parts of Canyon territory, where they had a border with the Wetlanders.
(I know what Arran's thiiiinking)
Could it be a good idea to list what area the characters are in at the bottom?

Like if I wrote “the mountains.” Cause I keep going back to the start page to see where the characters are, but just a thought .
(I think it's a good idea to put that at the top also because that's what happens in other roleplays and I too am liable to get confused)

(Close to the Canyon Runner's and the Wetlander's territory Borders)

Spruce ran as fast as he could even though he new that the Wetlanders wouldn't follow him past the borders. It felt weird to him talking about the Wetlanders as though he wasn't a former Wetlander scavenger. I hope I'll get to see Lotus again he thought gloomily Maybe next time I'll be able to talk her into joining the Canyon Runners. He looked over his shoulder as he was running just to make sure the Wetlander wasn't behind him. Just as he turned around the corner of a boulder. *WHAM* . He smacked head first into Arran. " OH MY TAILS AND TALONS, I'M SO, SO, SO, SORRY" He halfway yelled apologetically. He made one last glance over his shoulder to make sure that the Wetlander wasn't following him, even though he knew deep down that he was really debating on whether to go back for Lotus. He turned to look back at Arran and Cragan, both of them with that same skeptical look everybody in the Canyon Runners tribe made when they see him. He knew it was because he was an orphan and they have yet to accept him even though he has been in the Thunder for over 4 Years. " I am VERY sorry!" he said one last time to make sure they knew he truly was ashamed.

Ohh, like write (The Badlands), or (The Marshes), for each character before each post just so we know where they are?
(Sorry, it took me a hot second to realize what you meant 💀)

That’s a good idea! Also, if someone isn’t doing that, we can just give them a friendly reminder in case they didn’t see this post. :)

(It’ll probably only take them a little less than a day to get to the border, even if we say they were somewhat close to it.)

(Badlands)
Arran grimaced, allowing Cragan to run ahead. “Lax.. sure.” He knew the young tyrant couldn’t hear him, but he followed more slowly, gradually quickening his pace to keep up with Cragan.

Maybe it was a bad idea to bring him? Arran got along well with the young tyrant, but he honestly didn’t think Cragan would be too welcoming of his idea.
However.. the thunder was probably going to follow the herds during the hunt, which would most likely move them away from the wetlander’s borders.
This was the closest he was going to get to an easy visit. Arran just hoped she wasn’t too deep in her territory.

They’d never quite figured out a way to let each other know when to meet, but.. there was a place he knew he might find her if not anywhere else.
A huge, nearly dead tree near the border. Where they first met.
He always went there first when visiting, and loathed to intrude on the wetlander’s territory in search of her. He’d already been run off twice and didn’t want to be run off again.
