I work at a vet clinic and a lady just dropped off a possible robin fledgling (Has pale red chest and black back/head so I assume robin since I live in Midwest MO). I've been feeding him every 30ish minutes between working and she gave me baby food for him since she read online that it's the best option. If I bring him to my house and set him up in my chick brooder, am I able to leave him a bowl with mealworms or a chick feeder with game crumbles? He's about 2 weeks old according to the lady who left him. She says she found him on the ground about to be eaten by a cat so she started caring for him now she cannot. I can't feed him every hour every day due to work unless I bring him with me every day to the clinic. Does anyone know if he would peck or search for his own food? I don't know if my boss would appreciate me bringing a bird in to work with me every day and I doubt my family would remember to feed him on time at my house. Any advice is greatly appreciated! If I have to I'll bring him to the wildlife center but I'd like to help him since he showed up in my life so unexpectedly
TIA!
