Rob's First Incubation Attempt - Questions and Journal

I was running it as a test with full water to make sure I could get the humidity up. Now that I know I can get it high I'll remove from the 2nd tray and see if I can now get it to the accurate levels.

So far so good!

Okay, I dumped all the water, filled the smaller trough and pulled the tape off the big holes (mine didn't come with any fancy plugs).

Humidity is still high, but maybe there is still some water in the unit and/or maybe I need a better hygrometer.

Give it hours to see if the humidity level will come within the correct ranges....

I'm sure your hygrometer is fine, just takes some time for it to come down.

The Nifty-Chicken is incubating eggs. Look out!! You will never be the same. My test hatch will be finished end of next week and I can not stand it. You too may struggle with the urge to candle every day.
