Rob's First Incubation Attempt - Questions and Journal

Yes, MP is right! You've got to whistle and chirp to them, then they'll hurry up and hatch! Don't worry, your wife and daughters will get used to you acting like a fool over the bator!! Can't wait to see what hatches.

Actually, I'd get the kids to talk to them. Those little girl voices will perk those peeps right up! They'd sound like siblings

The second pipper is making good progress. The first is taking its time. One of the really big maran eggs is rocking quite a bit, but no pip yet.

Going to my wife's grandpa's 92nd b-day tonight so I hope we don't miss too much action!

Well, 2 minutes before it was time to leave I told Emily to come take a look because it had zipped around much more of the shell than we cold see.

Well, all of a sudden there was a flurry of activity and within 5 minutes we had this:

And here are the proud new mama's (all 3 of them):

Leave him do his work. He will encourage the others to hatch. Trust me on this. Don't open that bator until the hatch is over.

May we please see Alana's shawl/wrap in close up?
