There is no "I" in Ameraucana
I just returned from a show in Hamilton, MT. It was smaller this year than last, but there is always lots of nice people there.
There were two shows and I did very well. There were no other large fowl ameraucanas, but I placed well above the breed classifications.
A black cock that was given to me by a breeder that I cannot mention on BYC won Reserve Champion of show #1.
My buff cock got Reserve Large Fowl for Show #2 and a blue hen won Reserve Champion AOSB for Show #2.
I made enough money on prizes, hatching eggs and selling chicks that it paid for the whole trip, even the hotel!
