hi,

anyone got any experiance of this chicken? how easy are they to breed? (also how do I breed them)!?

I'm getting a trio of them, 1 cuck and 2 hens, 16 weeks old. £45

is there a special feed that I need to give them in order for them to start being broody? etc

Thanks

here is a dedicated thread about it..

but they dont need any special needs, except to keep them healthy thats all, they will do the breeding on their own and there is nothing you can do to make them broody, the hens will do that on their own aswell

oh, i see. ok, do i need any food? I was going to buy haygate pullet food.

very happy with these, aparently there v.rare in UK.. so thats why i brought them.. to lay more chicks.

Rare in the USA unless you want to make your own. They are not difficult to produce, a few years and a good incubator and you can have them running all over the place. I do not think there is a demand for the birds. They would be a novelty.
