Roden and Puffin Ducks????

Has anyone heard of a Puffin Duck or a Roden duck?? I have been presented with a opportunity to adopt 3 - 2 month old ducks from someone that can no longer care for them. She has told me that there is 1 Roden and 2 Puffin. The picture was taken last
night. Not really sure and can not find anything on line about either of these breeds. They look good and I am not overly picky just want to have an idea of what I am getting into. They look like rouens to my uneducated eye.

Could anyone help me??

Many times, people are unfamiliar with correct breed names. When I looked at the title to your thread I was thinking Rouen and Pekin. They do look like 2 Rouen the third on the right looks like a mix or a light phase rouen (if there is such a thing).
I have no idea what a Puffin could be though.

Two of them look like rouens for sure.. One looks like it has a crest. The one on the far right I have no clue.. Looks like a rouen mix. Maybe they're rouen/pekin mixes pronounced wrong?

Here is a puffin.. Definitely not what you have lol. Either way the three of them look very pretty and I know I'd end up bringing them home haha

LOL Thats the puffin I know too......Thought that might be a miss on the breeds but glad I could get some "expert" advice. Thanks all!!

Is there any way to sex them at this point. She has no clue. I know with the rouen they dont always get the distinct colours at this age.

The females will have a loud quack while the males will have a very raspy voice.

rite.....that would be good. Want to make sure if I get them that my ratios arent too off!!

Males also have curly tail feathers. Maybe not for all breeds but certainly with my pekins.
