The flock is pretty good. Henny's showing age though and is going a bit loopy. I think we're getting some BO chicks in the around though!

I'm glad their well, but I'm sorry about Henny. More BO's? Awesome! Btw everyone- This afternoon me and a few of my sisters went to our sisters house to get a kitten (Btw again, we got a kitten! He's so cute!) Anyway, we didn't get back until 5 pm and by then it was starting to get dark. I was about to go out and close my flock up when my mom told me while we were gone that she heard my chickens squawking and running everywhere, some of them were running towards the coop, and some were making a dash for the porch. She went out and tried to count them, but she assumed they were all here since they all came to her when they thought she had scraps. I ran out to count them and I couldn't find my Silkie Pickle. A couple of my sisters helped me look for her and we looked for ever (well, in reality, we looked for about 5 minutes but when your looking for a missing chicken it seems like forever). I ended up finding her

Phew!

What a relief that was!

It's okay. And now she just started her molt! That chicken! I know! I'm so excited! e That's so exciting! What color is he? Or better yet, do you have a pic? Glad Pickle and the other flock members are safe!

Oh, I heard of that. We just got the tail end of it, but I think the most inches we got were something like 6-8 inches. Not a lot compared to New Jersey and those states.
