The membrane doesn't look like that, the chick peeled most of it away.

Yeah, that's a good example. If it's more thick and white it could bleed.

I have been there, so I totalllllly get it, girl. I am now a lot less anxious with it, but it still drives me crazy with that internal battle of to help, or not to help???

Yeah, that's a good example. If it's more thick and white it could bleed.

I learned that the hard way. Yeah, that was one of my eggs, and it needed the membrane peeled, because it was malpositioned juuust enough that it couldn't push the membrane apart.

This is going to sound crazy, but try to cluck. Or, pull up a youtube video of a mother hen clucking and put it next to the incubator. See if there are any response peeps, it really encourages the chicks.
