I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THIS THREAD!!!!
And the only reason I remembered it was because of this:
Being my grandmother had final-stage dementia, she's been recently moved to a memory care facility, so we were at her house putting some of her unneeded things in boxes. I find this REALLY old picture album, and flip through the pages slowly, stunned by how much my grandmother looked like me in her teen years. I came to the section when she was in her 20-30s and found a flurry of pictures of her seeming to be running a hotel while conversing with a guy who looked eerily familiar.
Me: Mom, why does that guy look so familiar?
Mom: *Looks up briefly then returns to sorting through clothing* That's Frank Sinatra, honey.
Me: -_- WHAAAAAAA????
Mom: *eyes me wryly* Didn't I tell you your grandmother and him became close friends when he stayed at her hotel many times?
Me: Noooooo...
Mom: I KNOW I told you.
And I immediately thought of you, Isabella, at that exact moment.
