RodNTN's chat thread!

Wow. Just wow. My sisters respect me and everything I say. The most they ever do to be annoying is bother me into playing minecraft with them. They are honestly more like friends than they are sisters.

Me and my sister are pretty much besties. We have crazy "inside jokes" (ehehem, ar wars memes :P :gig), and are allies in the "war" against my younger tattle tail sister. We play Minecraft together and stuff, and memorize star wars bad lipreading, and don't rat each other out because we both do similar stuff! :lau

My sister is a obnoxious tattle-tail....

UGH SAME HERE.

But I would still kill for any one of my siblings in a heartbeat. Picking on Bubba? Run for your life, Silas, cuz if you stop I WILL CATCH YOU AND YOU WILL NOT WALK AWAY WITHOUT A LIMP :rant

Sorry..... Silas made bubba cry a few years ago, so I went ballistic and tried to nail him with an iceball. He is SO lucky that PJ walked out when he did :somad

:(  She has a purple comb that's flopped over and lifeless. She can't breathe out of hr nose so she struggling to breathe out of her mouth. She's pretty bad. We don't think she's going to make it another week.

Shootingstars. Do you have any idea what she may have contracted? :idunno I wish I could teleport myself over to you and somehow help!!!! :he Praying for you and her, even if it seems hopeless, Lily. :hugs

I think she might have a hard crop (if that's how you spell it) but I really don't know. Hard crop is my closed guess, though. Thanks. Thanks again.

I had a chicken with an impacted crop once- and, with copious praying and sleepless nights, she made it!!!!!
What we did:
1. We started by evaluating her. Noted the classic hard crop, foul breath, purple comb, and lethargy.
Isolated her from the flock. Kept her warm with a heating pad.
2. We flipped her over by and she vomited up the contents of her crop. We did this multiple times per hour per day. Although you have to be careful that you don't suffocate her by inducing vomiting too often. It's really complicated, so I definitely advise you read all those articles. Then we had her drink ACV in her water, which actually took a long time to even convince her to drink.
