How's Candice today, Lily?????

I took her in the pen for about 15 mins tonight. (While kicking Raspberry away cause she wanted to fight Candy) She was breathing a bit harder then she usually does but otherwise she was really happy to see her friends. I also have her an egg and she loved that.

That's definite improvement!!! And, in my opinion, the best thing you could've done was let her see her flock, even if it was only brief. Chickens get so depressed when isolated- I think that's the main reason I lost Peace after she seemed to get better. :/

Whenever we have a sick or injured chicken, we always take one of our healthy chickens (that are nice enough that it won't bully the injured chicken) to keep him/her company.

Well..... I guess... my mom said that we're going to put her in the pen so she can see her friends before she dies.

I am too. Sorry if I seem so glum. Our neighbours dog keeps coming to our chickens. We think it's the one that killed Pickle. I'm not sure though.
