I've been lurking on these boards for quite some time, learning all I can until I get my own chickens next summer.
I had to post today because a friend has a rogue rooster that has taken over her porch. None of the neighbors will claim it and, at this point, she and her husband are planning to catch it in order to give it to a friend who will feed it to his owls.
He's a black roo, they say he looks healthy but they really have no idea. If anyone might be in need of or willing to pick up a spirited roo, please let me know and I'll get you in touch with her.
Thank you!
