Roll away boxes using paint trays

Our hens turned into egg eaters so we converted their current boxes to be roll aways using paint trays lined with indoor outdoor carpet and some wood to cover up the eggs when they roll down.
Places some ceramic eggs in there with flat bottoms to show them where to lay since they dont like change.

Thanks we have an old metal shed we repurposed that wont allow for outside collection so we are always adapting the best we can ! I was so upset when I saw one of the girls carrying around an egg and the rest chasing her and a few more ate in the same day. Hopefully this solves it and I think they will be cleaner too!

My grandma had some in her Easter decorations. I bet you could get wood ones and file the one side down flat!
