We had a flock of four, but a coyote came around and it got diminished to a flock of two. The two left are the toughest girls, and since they've lost the other hens, they've gotten very close. In fact, they started sharing a nesting box.
This is my first time raising chickens, so I'm not sure how normal or strange this is, but I wanted to share! They've been doing this consistently every day for about a week.
