"Ok ok." Norris responded trying not to show any signs of being hurt. As soon as everything happened, Jannie stopped in her tracks. She wanted to protect her husband, but she knew that she shouldn't ever do anything against an Alpha, so she went back to following Issy.

Opal let go of him and turned to Jannie, "Please keep your mate in line," he said kindly, pointedly looking at Norris.

"I'll do my best." She replied kindly in submissive form. Norris got up and shook the dirt out of his fur. Jannie gave him a hard stare. Norris didn't even cringe but smiled instead. He walked up to her as if nothing ever happened. "Remember what you agreed to earlier?" She whispered into his ear reminding him of what he had said earlier that day. Norris said nothing.

Opal nodded and took his place back beside his mate.
 
Tango, the little black pup, at this point had no idea he was being tracked. He was proudly huddling under a rock ledge eating a small bird he had managed to clumsily pounce on. It was his first ever time catching something to eat....before he had lived off berries and stuff.
 
After Tango finished his meal, he started walking again. After a little while he noticed his stomach didn't feel too good. He tried to be a brave pup and ignore it, but it kept getting worse.

Suddenly he stumbled right out in front of the hunting party. He stopped, and stared blindly at them......

"The pup!" Jannie whispered in excitement. She couldn't help herself. She trotted right over to it and started licking it kindly.
