roo and a pullet?? or??

I have 2 cochin a white who I belive is a pullet and a barred who I believe is a roo. They will be 2 months on the 28th.

The person was likely referring to the difference in hackle and saddle feathering that roosters have - what they don't seem to realize is that at 2 months of age these differences are not yet present. The significant development and, even more important, coloration of the comb and wattle of the bird, though, are clear indicators of gender - the feathering will develop in the next several weeks.
 
Thank you all so much. This is my first roo out of about 15 straight run chickens. So he is welcomed
