Roo can not walk today

This little guy was fine untill this morning. His toes look curled. He can get around if he needs to. He will lift himself up about an inch and waddle to get some where. He eats and drink well he just can not walk today. I checked his legs they do not seem to be broke. No bruises no blood nothing. Any ideas. Here is a pic. He is 2 months old.

Do you have big enough perches? I heard if they are too small it can make their feet curl up. I dont know of any other reasons but somebody around here probably will. I'd call the vet asap.Good luck.

I had a little barred rock bantam cockeral do very similar.. No one knew anything about this... I kept him with his 2 girls and everytime I fed. I would make sure he got water and his own food on the ground.
It took about a month before he actually was taking awkward steps. 2 months and he is perfectly normal. He was around 3 or 4 months when it happened. Out of the blue, he stopped walking and just sat there. Like his leg was broke. it was really weird.. all other birds were fine and no one else has shown anything like that.... He is now over a year.

I had a hen that went from a limp to loss of leg use with no known reason. I separated her and gave her a special diet and she eventually walked herself back out to join the flock. No idea what caused it, or if what I was doing really fixed it or if it was time, but Ill pass on what I gave to squeecker.

First gave her lots of room to move, but also things to lean against. Checked on her constantly. Gave her V&E (vitamin and electorlites) in her water. Mixed plain yogurt with her food. Also squeezed a vitamin E tablet into her mouth nightly. gave her hard boiled eggs, some cooked oatmeal. Basically anything good for her and high in nutrients. It took some time, but she healed.

I hope your boy snaps out of it faster then mine.

I have several articles dealing with leg problems at the link above...I know it is alot of reading but the same symptoms will present with different disorders and seeing as we do not have the details of feeding etc. perhaps if you look through there you will read something that rings some bells...
I do notice how swollen the legs and feet are (could be edema or it could be gout)... have you looked underneath the footpads for signs of bumblefoot?
