Roo feed?

I have heard that a roo should not eat layer pellets. How do you manage the different feeds needed in a layer flock with a roo? And what should a roo eat?

I don't think there's any easy answer to this since they will eat what's available unless they are separate from the rest.

That's why I switched to Purina Flock raiser. I had a rooster that exhibited signs of kidney problems because of too much calcium. I switched to Flock raiser and haven't had any problems since. I have oyster shell out for the hens that are laying.
