Well our Silver Seabright Roo who was literally dying from pneumonia is doing alot better as I posted yesterday. Today was day 3 for his Tylan injection but he is still not back completely to his old self. I was wondering if I could continue the Tylan for a few more days til I feel a little more comfortable taking him off of it. He is still breathing through his mouth a lot and still fatigued but is eating canned cat food wonderfully and drinking vitamin electrolyte water very well too. Though by the time he gets better he may not eat chicken food lol he seems to rather enjoy his canned cat food!!! Thanks in advance!
edited to add: We are using Tylan 50 injectable and using 1/2 cc every day.
Oh I should also say that before we did the Tylan we tried the Terramycin and he was getting better until I stopped it because our local university vet told me to stop that it was just a cold, then he relapsed and was way worse than before. So then we knew it WAS pneumonia and bacterial. Also, the swelling in his eyes has went down but not completely gone.
