I have taken him to the vet because I thought I injured his leg while moving his pen 2 days ago , but also was sitting in the corner of the pen and he was limping
At the vet he had a fever , they gave him a water bath to get his temp down , they also gave him Metacam injection and Baytril injection , she did not suspect merks? or a broken tendon or slipped
I have made a mash this morning and he ate some , drank some electrolyte water but he is still laying down , not much movement
I recently went to the grower/finisher demour? my feed was in a sterlite tub and I had found mice droppings? I picked them out
An the thought just hit me , I did treat my lawn area for pest but not where the chickens are , and they don't free range , could a bug caused this? none of the other pullets have these symptoms
Botulism?
He poops clear cream , then I find a chocolate color poop , then white with some other stuff , so its inconsistent
Should I flush his system with Epson salt flush?
