Roo or hen and breed

Can anyone tell the breed of this chicken? I was told it was a mix. Also Roo or hen ?

Looks like a cockerel but knowing its age or a better picture of the saddle feathers would help. If it's a mix then it isn't a "pure" / named breed.

I think it is an Easter egger mix cockerel. It has a pea comb.

I can see no male specific feathering in the photos, but the patchy color pattern and the upright stance have me thinking boy.

How old is it? That’s quite important in evaluating comb size/ color.

I thought I could see male saddle feathers hanging down behind the tip of the wing in the first photo, but it's hard to tell for sure with the image quality and that angle.

Yeah, me too, but I'm not certain.
