I'm impressed that your first chicken is a Black Sultan! They're extremely difficult to get ahold of, at least in the US. I'm leaning towards cockerel

It's early days still for a Sultan. Watch for redness of the wattle and comb areas-- if that shows up within maybe three weeks, you may have a cockerel. Thus far, I think it is a toss up.
