Roo or Hen? Help!

anyone have any thoughts on my d'Uccle?
If your D'Uccle is really about 2 months of age, then I would say he/she is a cockerel based on comb development and coloring. Male Goldenneck D'Uccles tend to have darker colored patches their wing, while pullets have more even coloring. However, I could be wrong, as the tail doesn't look particularly cockerel-like, and I can't see the hackle/saddle clearly enough to tell if the feathers are pointed.

Also, your Rhode Island Red is a cockerel.

Are these hackles? Does this make her a him ? I really hope this is a hen and not a roo

Those feathers do look like pointy hackles. It is likely that he is a rooster. He/she appears to be a Gold Neck d'Uccle, and the females look different than your bird. Your d'uccle also has a large comb for only being two months old.

Yes, those are hackle feathers, which are pointed/narrow in male chickens and rounded/wider in female chickens. Your bird's hackles appear pointed and narrow, so it appears that you have a rooster. I'm sorry.

I just cant seem to catch a break! Man! I got this d'uccle because I lost a hen and found out 2 of my other chickens were roos and now Ive added a third roo to the mix! :( This is ridiculous! :((
