We hatched a batch of Sexlink and Califonia White eggs as part of a homeschool project. The place that rents the incubator will also take back the chicks (lots of public schools in the area use them). After they hatched, I brought in my brood and all the Sexlinks were boys and I was told there was a 50-50% with the two Califonia Whites. We took a chance and kept one of the Califonia Whites (and added a Rhode Island Red and an Ameracauna (I was told- see next post).
How long until I know if I gambled well or if I have to take HIM back? She/he was hatched on May 26th
