Roo or Hen..... PLEASE HELP ME for the sake of my kids!!!!

I am new to chickens also and have 4 buff orpingtons that are 12 to 13 weeks old. One has a comb as big as yours and I suspect he is a roo. The other 3 have no noticeable combs yet....so if I had to guess, I'd guess you have a couple of boys.

I have 2 Buff Orp pullets that are @ 12 weeks old and neither look like yours so I would have to agree and say roos.

I'd say both roos as well.

. I have 8 week old buff orpingtons and they have tiny pale combs.

I have one BO and she is three months old, https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/88240_dsc01128.jpg I think at eight weeks old to have that big and red of combs and wattles, my guess is boy!

both look like roosters to me. I have a buff orpington pullet 20 wks and her comb is the same size as your 8 wk old, so i think roo...

but very pretty though!

My BO girls are 15 weeks old and don't have anywhere near that much comb. Sorry.
