We have a flock of 10, when we purchased them we were told they were all hens. However, I have my doubts about one of our "girls". This is Addison and "she" is a Rhode Island Red. Can you help me tell if she's a she?

That's what I was thinking! Oh well, he's the sweetest one of my flock and we'll just change his name and all will be good!
Change the way you interact with him too.....
-handle him much less than the pullets - no matter how 'sweet' he is.
-make him get out of your way - don't walk around him, but thru him.
-he should in no way show more than a passing concern when you handle the pullets - any aggression, walk thru him.
-he should be a little afraid of you, keeping his distance whenever any human is near.

There is great truth in the idiom 'familiarity breeds contempt' in regards to keeping male chickens.
